Model SC-145 mortar consistency test apparatus
This device is used to test the normal consistency (thickness) of mortar. By dropping a standard cone into mortar without forces, normal consistency is mensurated by the depth that cone falls. The test results can help deciding water usage during construction, so that the mixture rate and the thickness of mortar are under control.
